August & September: These shows are qualifiers for the PUK 2009 Winter Championships. The 1st and 2nd in each qualifying class will qualify. Competitors in qualifying positions, who are not current members of Ponies (UK) are allowed 14 days in which to become members and register their horses/ponies in order for the qualification to remain valid. Qualification cards will be awarded in the ring. Competitors may enter either Northern, Southern or Both Winter Championships. AMATEUR RIDERS.OPEN TO RIDERS WHO FOR SHOWING PURPOSES HAVE NOT ENGAGED IN A TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR RIDERS/HORSES/PONIES, LIVERY, BUYING, SELLING OR DEALING OF HORSE/PONIES AS A MEANS OF DERIVING A MAIN SOURCE OF INCOME SINCE THE 1ST AUGUST 2008.
