Ring 2: Working Hunter ClassesAugust & September Shows: Qualifier Classes: The two highest placed exhibits not already qualified within the first six places will receive a ?Registration of Qualification? Certificate in the ringClass 17: M&M Nursery Stakes: M&M Mare/Gelding, 4yrs & over, not exc 128cms, registered in the respective Pure Breed Society Stud Books. Rider not to have attained their 12th birthday before 1st Jan in the current yr. Class 18: Nursery Stakes: Nursery Stakes, Mare or Gelding, 4 years old & over not exc 133cms. Rider not to have attained their 12th birthday before 1st Jan in the current year. Class 19: P(UK) Confined Novice Horselode M&M WHP Winter Championship; Conf Novice Mixed M&M WHP Stallion/Mare or Gelding, 4 yrs & over. Registered in the Pure Breed Section of the Societies Stud Books of Dartmoor, Exmoor, Shetland, Connemara, Highland, Dales, Fells, Highland, New Forest, Welsh Sections A,B,C & D. NOT to have won a first prize of £10 or more in any open mixed M&M WHP classification before 1st Jan in the current year. Rider any age. Height of fences to be according to the Confined Novice WHP Rules as listed in the Ponies Association (UK) 2008 Rule Book. FENCES to be adjusted for each section. Class 20: P(UK) Confined Novice Downland Smuggler WHP Winter Championship; Working Hunter Pony Mare or Gelding 4 years old and over, NOT to have won a first prize of £10.00 or more in an open WHP class before the 1st January in the current year, not exceeding 158cms. Riders must be the correct age for the animal they ride as stated in the 2008 Rule Book - 133cm /14yrs 143cms/17yrs 153cms/21yrs 158cms/25yrs. FENCES to be adjusted for each section. Class 21: P(UK) Horselode M&M WHP Winter Championship; Mixed M&M WHP Stallion, Mare or Gelding, 4 years old and over, registered in the Pure Bred Section of the Breed Societies Stud Books of Dartmoor, Exmoor, Shetland, Connemara, Dales, Fells, Highlands, New Forest and Welsh Sections A, B, C & D. Rider any Age. FENCES to be adjusted for each section. Class 22: P(UK) Downland Smuggler WHP Winter Championship; WHP Mare or Gelding 4 yrs old & over, not exc 158cms. Riders must be the correct age for the animal they ride as stated in the 2008 Rule Book - 133cm/14yrs 143cms/17yrs 153cms/20yrs 158cms/25yrs. FENCES to be adjusted for each section. Class 23: P(UK) Winter Zenith Working Hunter Championship; Working Horse/Pony, stallion, mare or gelding, 4 years old & over. Riders any age. These classes are designed to encourage the horse/pony and rider to perform stylishly. Please see P(UK) 2008 rule book for method of judging.Class 24; Confined Novice Working Hunter Horse: Novice Working Hunter, Mare or Gelding, 4 yrs old & over, exc 153cms, not having won a first prize of £40 or a total of £150 in prize money in any Working Hunter Class before 1st Jan in the current year. To be shown in any suitable bridle. Rider any age. Class 25; Open Working Hunter Horse: Open Working Hunter, Mare or Gelding, 4 yrs & over, exc 153cms. Rider to have attained their 16th birthday before 1st Jan in the current year. Class 26; Amateur Working Hunter: Open to Working Hunter Horse/Pony, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over. For exhibits exceeding 153cms riders to have attained their 16th birthday prior to 1st Jan in the current year. The highest place exhibit from each section will be issued with a ?Registration of Qualification? certificate in the ring. I.e. highest placed working hunter pony/ working hunter exc 153cms. All handlers must become either a senior or junior rider?s club member within 14 days in order for the qualification to remain valid. Class 27; Riding Club Horse/Pony: Any height, Rider any age, required to jump small course of 3 fences and show general suitability for all types of competition.
